BOOK REPORT

Woohoo! It's time for another Book Report! I have also added a "page" to the blog where I keep a running list of books I've read, in no particular order.  You can find that here. I haven't done one of these posts in a looong time so it feels like I have read a bunch, but I really haven't. 

In my last book report, I wrote that I was about to start reading The Girl You Left Behind
by JoJo Moyes.

 I loved her other two books that I read and I also loved this one!  I am a history nerd and loved the war aspect of this book.  Totally not what I was expecting, but truly enjoyed reading it.  My mom started reading it too, after hearing me talk about it so much.

Nantucket Nights Elin Hilderbrand was another one I read recently-- this was actually an audio book. 

So I went back and forth from really liking this book to being super annoyed at it to liking it again.  It kept me thinking about it- so that was good... but there were parts that I just did not enjoy, if that makes sense.  But I am still glad I read it.  Maybe it wasn't my favorite of her books, but I still liked it!

Silver Girl Elin Hilderbrand was really good!

 It's about a ba-zillionaire whose husband is arrested for running a ponzi scheme and how she goes from having everything to figuring out what she needs.  I enjoyed this book-- there was most suspense in this one than in most of her books, so I liked that.  I listened to this one too. 

I just started The Secrets of Midwives and so far I am enjoying it (thanks for the rec!!!)

 I am not far into it, but so far, so good!

I just downloaded Necessary Secrets and I am listening to that one.  It's going to be good-- I can tell.... and I just started....!

Not much to report with books, but I am trying! Have you read anything good lately??
