Little Ballers

On an extremely HOT Monday afternoon, when your new neighbor asks you if she can take your boys up to the Dean Dome to go shoot hoops for a bit, you don't hesitate to respond YES! (the Dean Dome is where UNC plays basketball, for you out of state readers.....).  The boys had the BEST time shooting around and playing hard.  These cuties love some TARHEELS!

The played a game of basketball....

and my neighbor was sweet and took some pictures to send me.  They look pretty happy to me!

As they were driving home, the neighbor asked if they boys could come over for dinner.... yes, yes they can! So they went over to their house for dinner and then came over to our house-- along with some other neighbors-- for popscicles and to play a little baseball in the side yard before everyone going home at 8...!

Have I mentioned how much I love this neighborhood?!?!?!

Also- watched the Bachelorette Monday night. The overnight dates have Bruce like....

I can not believe Robbie is still in it.  I just don't find him....straight.  At all.  And after witnessing Jordan's capris at the rose ceremony, I am not so sure about him either.  Jojo, I love.  And I would like to have her body.  And her hair.  And also, what does Jordan put in his hair to obtain such volume? Mouse? Gel? I don't get it.  I liked Chase.  No way he isn't the next Bachelor.  No way.  They started grooming that boy for the part when they sent him back to Jojo to apologize for the way he left.
I could go on and on.  Literally.  On and freaking on.  Guess I won't. But I could.

Weekend Update

This might be my shortest weekend update ever.  It isn't from lack of a fun weekend, that's for sure! I just didn't take any pictures! We spent the weekend at the beach with great friends and had the best time.

Thursday, Cal had his last day of baseball camp and it's safe to say he loved it! They changed into swimsuits for the last bit and practiced sliding-- he was in heaven!
After camp, he got a few autographs.  Note to self: next year, bring a baseball for signatures!
My happy guy! Love his sweet smile.
Cal went to the beach super early with Eddie Friday morning.  I taught two popup classes and then Andy and I headed to the beach-- he was clearly worn out! I wanted to be napping too after back to back classes....
We got to the beach and I walked into find this Saturday morning.  All curled up together.
We met up with the Corleys and headed over to the beach-- and it was a gorgeous day out there!
After spending the morning on the beach, we loaded up the boat and headed out to sand dollar island.  We stayed out there until after 8-- and just had so much fun! So much fun that I didn't take one single picture.....! Until we got home... you think he was tired??? hahahaha
Sunday we spent at the Coral Bay Club and it was glorious! This kid was enjoying it...
Any time spent with his grandma is a good time in his book!

This week, I am working a camp at school and it is a big adjustment for me! Getting up early and getting there will be a challenge, but it is a good time for me and the kids! Cal is our assistant in the class and Andy gets to go to the camp too, so it's fun for all!
Cheers to a busy and fun (AND HOT!) week!

Friday Favorites!

HAPPY FRIDAY, Y'ALL!

What a fun week! We are beach bound this weekend and we are super excited.

A few favorites for you this week:

1. This kid and his sunglasses. I said he begged for him a few weeks ago and he still loves them.  He came home from baseball camp the other day and put them on and did.not.take.them.off.  I mean, they were on the entire afternoon, through dinner and finally came off when it was shower time.

2. These fun new bulletin boards!!! My mom made them for the boys! This is in Cal's room (he calls it his Baltimore...)-

This one is in Andy's room..... (and more items have been added to this since taking this picture-- he is obsessed with this board!!!)
and then this HUGE board is hanging in the playroom.

Our thought is they can hang up whatever they want on their boards in their rooms- awards, ribbons, special papers, anything meaningful to them.  The one in the playroom is for big art projects and pictures of them or whatever. The boys are so so so excited about these boards! I am too- def a favorite this week!

3. These boys and their camps this week are a HUGE favorite of mine! Andy was super excited and ready to get to camp.  And, I was too..... big time.
And this cutie and his baseball camp.... seeing his big ol' smile every day and how his baseball attire grows with each day is a huge favorite of mine.  Add the sunglasses, the socks, the hat.... he's like a real player!

4. Speaking of baseball, I found this lamp and it is a definite favorite on mine and Cal's! I have it on his book shelf and when he saw it, he let out a huge gasp-- and that right there makes it a favorite of mine!

5. My friend makes those custom wood signs, which I have written about before....her etsy shop is HERE.   She has started making some Christmas signs and I love them all-- they are ALL my favorite! I mean, look at some of these she's working on! How will I ever decide what to order?!

I know it's only July but this is like Christmas in July! Never too early to think about it, right?! But I also want a fall sign....and a Halloween sign....and and and and.....

6. And finally, Nordstrom is having their big a** sale currently, duh.  I have several favorites on the site that I can't wait to order....
These jeans
These candles
This bra..!
These pants

And many many many other items!!! I plan to do some mega shopping- wooooohoooooooo! Love this sale!

Life lately

We have had a GREAT week! Both boys are in camp and I am getting some wonderful time to myself to get stuff done without "helpers."

Here's a look at life lately, starting from last week... y'all were so kind with your comments from my post about Champs-- guess those videos got you excited as well- hahahahaha

I went in to kiss the boys goodnight and found Andy with one foot on the ground, ready to run.  hahaha

And then I walked into Cal's room and he had pulled off his pillow case and was sleeping without a case.  In the morning I asked him about it and he said he just loved the way the pillow felt... whtever floats your boat, buddy!

They were slow moving one morning and I caught them curled up on the couch together.  Love how close they are.  (but also, it must be noted, they fight like it is their JOB)
Bruce got up on the couch with me to watch Big Brother the other night...it is not allowed.  Don't tell Eddie.  Shhhhhhh.....

Have I mentioned how much I love this neighborhood? There are kids everywhere, all playing together.  And it is SO much fun! This was our side yard the other day-- a full baseball game going on.  It makes me so happy to see all these kids playing together! And outside!!!
The Sunday after Champs, we had the swim team banquet.
These two cuties were excited to earn their trophies and collect their ribbons from the big meet.
The 6 and under boys were all called up in front-- don't they just look like trouble??
And here is Mr. Cal with his trophy and his ribbons-- think he was excited??
Andy didn't get the concept of holding ribbons in front of his trophy....
We love Mr. Keith! He works at the club and is one of our favorite people ever.

 With my little swimmers!
The grandparents wanted a picture of Cal's collection-- not too bad for my buddy!

Sweet Hank gets so much love.  These boys adore their pups...and I do too!!!!
I was getting dressed Monday morning and Cal climbed in my lap in the closet.  I love this kid and the fact that he barely fits in my lap anymore makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry.  He's getting so big!

Monday morning, he was off to UNC baseball camp! It is ALL day and it is sooooo stinking hot outside.  It isn't bothering him in the least bit though! Big smiles at drop off...
Pretty cool to be able to play on UNC's field.

Andy is also in a camp this week and he's having a great time too! He gets out at 1, so a few days, I picked him up and we hit the pool until it was time to get Cal.
He asked for a picture of his back.  I love a kid with a visor on.
When we got to pickup, I looked at the field and saw Cal and Brad walking off the field together-- how sweet is this?? Best buddies walking off talking together.
Cal showed me his wound from the day-- because, really, can a Williamson child go a week without an injury?? He slide into a base and tore up his hip.  He was totally fine and didn't care at all.  But I saw the blood seeping through and I was a little worried...but he was still happy as can be!
 See? All smiles!!!!

On Monday night, we celebrated Tricia's birthday with a yummy dinner.  I love this picture! Andy totally photobombed them.

On Tuesday, Cal learned to wear some pants to baseball camp-- much better for sliding! (and someone told him to pop his toe like this when he bats...? apparently it encourages him to step and swing....who knows....I think it's hilarious)

And then there's this hot mess....sweaty, stinky and happy!

That's a look at life lately! Fun and sweaty!
