HaPpY BiRtHdAy, NuG!

I can NOT believe my little baby boy is already TWO years old! Time is flying and these boys are growing way too fast.

We had Andy's birthday party Saturday and it was a fun little party.  My goal with this party (other than for Andy to have fun....), was to keep it SMALL.  I just invited his little classmates and a few other kids.  I think our total number was 13 kids.  I knew if I invited all of Cal's friends and all of the siblings, it would end up being way too big and chaotic and Andy would end up in the corner sucking his fingers-- haha! So, I kept it fairly small and it was great.

Eddie's mom and sister both got in on Friday so I had some extra hands and my mom met me this morning to help me set it all up.

Pinterest helped me plan this party...seriously-- I stay away from pinterest for the most part, but I did have fun making these things.

We set up the room with two low tables-- one for coloring for the kids who didn't want to jump in the bounce houses, and one for eating.

The drink table with the cupcakes and favors:

I made this banner and it took a while, but I was really happy with how it came out. Wish I got a better picture of it!

These were supposed to be oreos dipped in melted chocolate... well, I over-heated the chocolate and it because play dough like so we tossed that and instead used vanilla frosting with red food coloring.  They turned out pretty cute, but this was an epic fail from where it was supposed to be! ha!

I also made Mickey Mouse cupcakes by adding the two dots to the wrappers and then I dipped the top of the cupcake in crushed up oreos and added the ears. CB added the ears-- the domestic diva...

The favors...

Andy was given little Mickey figurines so I had them out on the food table.

The first time Andy saw the party...

With the birthday boy!

They had just gotten there and were ready to run around and explore!

Look at Andy's eyes taking it all in...

My mother-in-law, my sister-in-law and my momma....SO SO thankful for their help for this party!

This kid broke a sweat right off the bat from playing so hard

This is one of Andy's buddies, Lee.  Lee discovered that I put some Oreos on the table and kept sneaking over and taking one.  He thought he was being sneaky, but we were all watching him-- it was too funny.

I have written about Cal's love of Ava, but Andy is also equally obsessed with Ava's sister, Abigail.  He was so excited when she got there.  He walked over to get closer to her and then this series happened:

ACK! Whoops! Everyone was watching him and then everyone saw him tackle her.  Thank goodness those girls are so tough.  Cal and Ava were wrestling like crazy in the bounce house and Andy was tackling Abigail.... sheesh! Those Williamson boys.... ha!

Our incredibly awesome babysitter stopped by to visit too-- we love her...and she's going to college in the fall.  I could cry just thinking about it.  She is so good to us.

Ava hung out in the bounce house with all the boys.  She was tackling and wrestling with them and it didn't phase her at all! She is one tough cookie! We love that about her.

Loving on Jackson...or vice versa:

Halfway through the party, they brought out the food-- some yummy grilled cheese, french fries and chicken nuggets.  It brought all the kids in together, which was a perfect lead in to the cupcakes!

I made a separate little smash cake for Andy.  He got to blow out the candles on his little cake and then he grabbed Lee's cupcake next to him-- he would rather have a cupcake, I guess!

Lane and Catherine wanted his cake though!

The best big brother ever with the birthday boy!

Kate, the babysitter extraordinaire brought by a cape for Andy... she made one for Cal too for his birthday.  Andy put it on immediately and Cal had to put it on too....

It was a successful party and Andy had a lot of fun, which is the point of it all!

I can not believe my littlest man is now TWO!!! How can that be???

We love our little wild man more and more every day.   I love watching him grow and learn new things and he has just the funniest personality.

Nugget: we love you so so so SO much and we are blessed to have you in this family!
