Disney Cruise: Day Four

Day four of the cruise was spent at sea.  The trip back to Port Canaveral isn't long at all, so they basically took us out in the ocean to float a bit.

We learned how packed the pools could be, so we planned on using kids club for the morning of our last day on the boat.

The boys had a BLAST in kids club! It made me wish we used it more than we did.  Eddie and I went to the adults only pool and sat in the sun while drinking some adult beverages.  It was SO SO nice! When we went to pick up the boys, Andy was eating lunch in the eating room and Cal was in full blown play mode.

We went to get some lunch and then they were ready for a rest in the room. And I didn't get any pictures the whole time....! A whole day with no pictures-- hard to believe, I know.

That night, we had our last dinner, in the Animator's Palace.  It was such a cool restaurant!

After dinner, the sun was setting in the most picturesque way, so we had to take a picture in front of it!

The following was totally unprompted.  They do this all the time, without us asking....

We headed back to the rooms to pack up-- we had head out early! We actually were supposed to put our bags out by 10:30 that night, but we decided to keep them with us and just drag them around until we got off the boat the next day.

We left the boat around 7:30am and headed to the airport...our flight was not until 4:40.  It made for a LOOOOONG day of waiting around at the airport!

It was a fabulous vacation (if you can call it that??) and we all had a great time!  It was definitely a trip for the kids-- seeing their faces the whole time really made it all worth it.

Phew! Done posting about Disney.....!!!!! I am sure anyone reading this is grateful :)

Disney Cruise: Day Three

We pulled into Castaway Cay early this morning-- this is Disney's private island and it was really nice! We planned on spending most of the day off ship and that's just what we did!

As we were walking towards the gangway, Andy started yelling: "HEYYYY, PETER PAN!!!" Actually, Jake was there first and took a break right as we got in line to see him and Peter came to relieve him, so we stayed put to visit with Peter! He was really funny and Cal thought he was great...

Andy thought his exuberance was a little over the top though, and wouldn't let go of my arm.

When we got off of the boat, we spotted Chip and Dale and Andy let out a squeal/gasp noise.  I have no idea, but I am assuming Chip and Dale are brothers (???) so I thought the below picture with the brothers was really cute... also love that Cal and Andy are holding hands.

Here is a shot of our big ol' boat!

The water was beautiful...and chilly! It didn't stop these two though! They had the best time playing in the water and on the beach.  The beach got pretty crowded, but we got chairs and sat right by the water.

We stayed here for just about the entire day.  They had a restaurant on the beach so we could get lunch, and of course, they had to have the ice cream machines there too! We all really enjoyed soaking up the sunshine.

The boys took turns "surfing" on this little raft-- they were cracking up!

Cal wasn't wanting to share, so Andy grabbed a float and decided he would set sail on his own!

Around 4, we headed back to the boat- the kids were skipping the whole way there and flapping their arms saying they were birds- haha

After a really quick rest time, it was time to get ready for....

PIRATE NIGHT!

They give each cabin bandanas to wear- Cal rocked his!

On our way to dinner we ran into Goofy. Andy was woken up from a nap and he was OUT of it-- he was staring at Goofy like he was crazy (I mean, I guess that is legit...).

After the picture, Cal said thank you and walked away.  Andy didn't move.  He just stood there.  I held out my hand and called his name, but he just stood.  Uhhhh.... nug? Goofy put his hand on Andy's back and gave him a little nudge towards me.  That was alllll it took for Andy to lose it: "GOOFY PUSHED MEEEE!!!!!" He was hysterical.  And I am sure the kids waiting in line to meet Goofy were thrilled to hear that he pushes children....

We had to take a little stroll to calm down (and maybe wake up a bit?).  When we came back, we were ready for dinner!

Sitting across from these two pirates....arrrrggghhhhhhh!

The children's menu turned into a hat.  I was glad to demonstrate how it worked.

After dinner, we got the boys their 3rd ice cream of the day.  Don't judge.  It's a Disney vacation.  It's what you do.  Plus, how about that added calcium??

Then, pirate night began! We headed to the deck where they put on an awesome pirate show! Pirate Mickey and his Pirate crew all came out and taught us how to be pirates.  Then, Capt. Hook came on board to take over the ship, but there were too many pirates there to let that happen! So Capt Hook and Mr. Smee took off running....super cute show!

Their faces during the show....I mean, really--

Andy was a little nervous during the show because he kept hearing people talk about the fireworks when the show ended.  We promised him there weren't any (they were coming after bed time), so he was okay.

Cal was exhausted (again) (He seriously asked every single night to go to bed-- he was flat worn out!) and asked if I would hold him... you got it, buddy!

This last picture is one of my very favorites...maybe ever.

Andy spotted Donald Duck's bottom-- like he flew into the  tower and got stuck.  Andy laughed and laughed and laughed some more.  I love his little hand on his head like he is just in awe that that silly duck did that.

And that, my friends, concluded day THREE of the cruise!

The last day was a day at sea!
