Dinner with Santa!

Every year, our country club hosts a dinner with Santa.  It is soooo fun and it sells out every year.  We LOVE it!!!

As always, here's a look back at previous Santa dinners....

Once again, we had a great time! Andy was so excited, he could hardly take it.  He was counting down until he got to see Santa.  He had so many questions for him! Was Rudolf there? Was he tired? Did he go on the golf course? Does he like cookies? And on. And on. And on....

But, before we went to the club, we had to take some pictures:

Back story here... this past weekend, my sister in law took Cal to see the play Rudolf-- they brought home this little fella for Andy.  And he is obsessed.  Like, OBSESSED.  He sleeps with it, carries it around, and loves the thing.  He insisted on bringing it to the club to meet Santa.  He insisted on it being in the pictures.  Whatever.  It made him smile!!! And he looks pretty cute sitting on the porch there.
This could have been my Christmas card!! Love these two brothers!
Andy asked for a picture with Ru...
And then said Cal should get one too...
We got to club and took a family picture.  Thanks, Sall :)

And then pretty much right away, the jingle bells started and Santa walked in singing! The kids quickly formed a line to sit on his lap.
The cousins enjoyed being in line together...

Andy was first to go talk to Santa-- he hopped up with zero hesitation.  So different from years past...
He told Santa he wanted a bike and a pogo stick...

I think in the below pic Santa was asking him about the tree... not really... but Andy looks guilty....

Next up was Cal... he was all smiles too and super chatty.  He loved talking to Santa.  I thought he might stay up there a while.  He told him he wanted a bike.

Stilllll chatting...
Then we got a picture with both boys....

After talking to Santa, they ate and ran around looking for his sleigh.

Before we left the house, Cal said "I am going to take a picture tonight of you and daddy." I hurriedly said, "okay, fine..."  He remembered and held me to it- here is the masterpiece! hahahaha
We had a GREAT night with friends and it is always such a fun way to kick off the holiday season.  I love it!
