Weekend Update! Bottoms Up and a lot of selfies

What a fun weekend! And now it's daylight savings.

Ahhhhhhhh......

Friday night we had a super fun party to go to.  A sweet sweet woman battled--AND BEAT--- cancer this year, so there was a huge party in her honor that raised a bunch of money to go towards cancer research.

We had so much fun!!!! We won't talk about the game that was happening during the first part of the party..... sob sob.

Focus on the fun and dancing....

It was a night with a LOT of selfies! hahaha

Had a great time with this handsome hunk too.  Lots of dancing and FUN! My kind of night!

Okay so with my back hurt, I haven't been working out much at all-- I got the green light to take it up a notch last week.  So Friday, I did popup (and went harder than I had the precious two weeks), and then played tennis (and also went harder than I had the previous weeks) and then I danced for hours.  Y'all.  Saturday rolled around and I felt like a 92 year old.  Every inch of me was sore- ha!!! My muscles were aching and I had leg cramps that would NOT quit.

Bruce and I wanted to stay like this all day long......

Every single meal/snack, the boys make a HUGE mess under these chairs.  And I sweep constantly.  It is annoying.  I got a little dirt devil from target last week and the boys fight over who gets to vacuum up now--- big fat MOM WIN.  Cal is literally the messiest eater you've ever seen.  It is alarming.  So Andy just planted himself under Cal and went to town while Cal ate! hahahaha

Boys had baseball Saturday morning (I opted out of that one.....and I am not mad about it!) and then Andy had a basketball game at 3:30.  His team lost for the first time in two years....! They played a really good team!

But they had a fun time so that's all that matters!

Andy has been sleeping through the night and as his reward, he got to go to Chuck E Cheese after basketball.  Well.  Oh my word.  We went to the Chuck and there was not one empty parking spot in the entire place-- not even the handicap spots were open (not that we would park there, obviously! But just to show you how full the lot was!).  The line to get in the place was OUT THE DOOR.  We drove by and it was people shoulder to shoulder in there.  It looked just miserable, to be honest.

We called an audible and headed to Only Burger for some super healthy food (omg, insert eye roll here........).  It was super delicious though! And look how happy these wild things were!

We are back on the miralax train for Andy and while it is helping his tummy issues immensely....he is back to having incredible rages.  And they are awful.  And really hard to deal with.  And totally heart breaking.  As soon as the rage passes, he is sobbing how sorry he is.  It is a struggle to find the balance of giving it to him to relieve the constipation, or not giving it to him to not promote the rages.

All of this to say: I took the below pictures post-rage Saturday night.  It is a great reminder for me how sweet and innocent he is...and how cute! He truly doesn't mean to be awful....

He wanted me to wear my robe too-- talk about melting me!
Cal was at sleepover so it was just me and this guy (and Eddie too-- but he wasn't in a robe, so no selfie for him.).

I sent the below picture to my dad and he replied "strong gene pool." hahaha apparently he thinks we look alike!

Sunday morning we woke up to some snow....! WHAT???? On Friday, I was playing tennis in a skirt and tank top.... what in the world, mother nature?!? It came down for quite a while (much longer than I anticipated..!) but clearly nothing stuck- it was, after all, 75 degrees all week long.  But it was pretty to watch!

As soon as it stopped, this one was chomping to go for a walk.  Or a drag.  He took me on a drag.  We have GOT to work with him on pulling.  Good gracious.  I feel like I am somewhat strong, and he can drag my rear end all over the place!

The boys were over at our sweet neighbor's house playing football- Ali posted this pic on instagram :) I could hear them laughing as I took Bruce on a walk!

There was a 1:00 popup on Sunday and it was AWESOME! Oh my word, it felt so good to sweat it out and burn some calories.  I am kind of addicted to a Sunday afternoon class! Once football starts back up, I wouldn't be able to do it, but it was great to go Sunday.

I came home and showered and made a dip for another neighbor's house and then the boys had choir at 5:15.

We went straight from choir to the neighbor's house for the NCAA selection.  Michelle took a selfie with this wild crew hahaha

And another weekend is over! I know this week is going to be brutal.  I need caffeine stat.  The time change alone will be rough, but throw in a staff meeting at school, teaching popup twice (!!!), physical therapy, early release day (and providing treats for that), the boys' first baseball game, volunteering in Andy's class and working on some other small projects.... that doesn't even get me into next weekend......which is SLAMMED.  Maybe I will skip the caffeine and go straight to the rose.  hmmmmmm......

Hope your weekend was grand!
