Happy Dad's Day!

Since I know I have no male readers (except maybe Tommy? He's so nice...he prob reads this out of sympathy...), I hope all of your hubby's, daddy's granddaddies, baby daddies, etc had a great day!

Eddie had a great weekend- so he says! He got to play golf on Saturday and Sunday and watch a lot of golf on TV in between rounds.  Having the US Open Father's Day weekend is a present in itself, right?

I am lucky to have a sweet man to love me and my boys.  He is a wonderful role model for the boys and a wonderful partner in this whole "parenting world." I love my man!

A trip down Eddie's Dad's Lane... (I was going to add pics of my dad, eddie's dad and my grandpa, but then all of a sudden this post was lasting until Father's Day 2015... couldn't handle it! But I do love them too-- so so much!)

To the man who made me a momma...I wish you the happiest Father's Day! You deserve it! (even if you will never read this post because you don't read my blog. Still.  Even then.)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Swim meet...#2

Cal had his 2nd official swim meet this past Thursday! He is really starting to get the hang of it all and is really enjoying it!

And I have learned that I need to stay near him for the meet-- no walking over to the other side to visit with other people.  He does better when he can see me!

There was a storm passing just before the meet and everyone wondered if we would be able to have it, but that passed on and the skies cleared right up!

After winning ribbons last week, Cal started realizing what it takes and he is allll about it now!

He even wore a new swim suit to make him swim faster:

Warm ups this week were a little shorter due to the weather delay-- fine by us!

Cal and some of the other boys... Andy jumped in too... Jackson came to this meet so he got in the picture.

After he swam his first event: 25m free... momma was proud!
So, at the last meet, Cal took his goggles off (and handed them to me to hold) and thought he lost them (I had them the whole time).  He totally panicked and cried.... so this time he never took them off of his eyes.  Not on his head, not around his neck: on his eyes the entire time.  Bless his sweet heart.

My mom and dad came to the meet to watch and Eddie came after work too so we had a great cheering section.

And, I have posted this video everywhere, but this is my baby book so ignore this if you don't want to see it.  But here Cal is in his relay race.  He did much better in this race than in the individual race... his little arms were going and going!

The next meet is on Wednesday...go sharks!!!
