Judgement Free Zone

No judging allowed....k?  Feel free to do one of these posts of your own!

JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE:

--Don't judge me, BUT I made some Hamburger Helper for dinner the other night for the boys.  I felt guilty that I didn't prepare something a tad healthier for the fam, so I cooked up some corn (straight from the can to the stove top).  At least I added a veggie, right?

--Don't judge me, BUT I have been drinking a LOT of Diet Coke lately.  Like, A LOT.  I am trying hard to limit myself, but sometimes I am just really thirsty and nothing will quench it like a DC.  We're talking 3-4 a day.  (Rachel, make me feel better-- you're an addict too, right???)

--Don't judge me, BUT I honked my horn at a man littering out of his car a few days ago.  I watched him roll down his window, extend his arm, and drop a brown bag filled with trash and a big ol' can right there on highway 54.  I honked and pointed my finger at him (I am soooo badass).  He turned and looked at me with a smirk.  I am sure he was thinking something along the lines of "watcha going to do about it, blondie??" (in my mind, this all was happening).  So I lifted my glasses and gave him one of my best evil eyes ever.  Not that it was scary or anything, but son, I will stare your rear end down.

--Don't judge me, BUT the way Cal says squirrel is about the funniest thing I've ever heard.  It is something like "skeeeerrrral" or "sgguuuurrrrl." Therefore, I make him say it all the time.  Just to make me laugh.  No shame in my game.  It's funny, y'all.  I also got a little scare-a-crow thing for our front yard.  I told Cal her name was Squirrel.  Every time we leave the house or return home, he says "hiiii, squrrrreeeeeellllll!"  I must film him saying it.

--Don't judge me, BUT the other day the kids were driving me CRAZY.  I loaded them in the car, walked inside and had an out loud conversation with the Big Guy upstairs.  I asked him to HELP me find some patience and to help me be a better mother.  I hate myself when I get so impatient.  I get so disappointed in myself when I am quick to snip/sigh/etc.  It felt so good just having a little one-sided convo with the Good Lord :)  Do y'all ever do that?  Just take a few minutes to just talk to Him? I am not getting all preachy on here, don't worry... but it did help me take a deep breath and power through an afternoon of screams and endless questions.

--Speaking of questions, Don't judge me, BUT the other day in the car, we were driving down the road, and I kid you not, this is what I heard from the backseat..."mommy, there is a motorcycle. Do you see it, Mommy? Andy sees it, OH MY GOSH THERE IS A BUS! Where is he going, Mommy? Do you see it, Mommy? AN AIRPLANE!!!!! That car has letters on it. He is going fast. Is it a blue light? No? A red light? Is it red, Mommy? Red light or blue light? Red or blue, mommy? RED OR BLUE!!!!????? Mommy, I am hungry. You got me a snack? LOOK AT THE TRUCK!!!!!!" And that was all in about one breath.  And...I just sat there listening....not answering...just listening.  Because, honestly, he didn't care if I answered or not.  He just wanted to talk.  And talk. And talk a little more.

That is it for right now.... I could go on and on and on with things, I know.  Y'all don't judge me, k?

hilarious! and no judgements...not from this girl! I say do it and be proud of it - let someone else live your life for a day if they think they can do it better!

DC foreva!!

Ed thinks he has me on a limit to 1 per day but he doesn't see me at work and he most likely won't read this comment so he has no idea that I sometimes multiply that 1 by 3. Or 4....or 5! :)

Hahaha...thanks for the laugh!! I have learned to drop any judgements since becoming a Mom. Who did I think I was before? I had no idea! Haha

Talks with the Big Man Upstairs happen frequently in our house...patience? Please? Guidance. I need it. Faith that this, too, shall pass...it's somewhere! Holy smokes...parenting is wonderful, but it's just not something you can do on your own! :)
