He is trying reallllly hard to crawl. He is still a ways off, but he lays on the floor face down and pushes up and starts moving his legs like crazy. You can just see the wheels turning like he is trying to figure out how to get from point A to point B. There's a lot of that on the video! He will reach for something and then lose his balance and roll over to his back (usually cracking up as he goes).
On Monday, I sat him up on a blanket on the floor and then backed away. He stayed sitting up for at least 30 seconds! I was so excited! On Tuesday, I sat him down and then ran to get the camera. When I came back, he was still sitting and playing with a toy! I was very impressed! When he toppled over, he didn't even freak out; just rolled to his belly and started playing with another toy! Guess that's why we have carpeting!
Cal's last trick is in the swimming pool. At swim class on Tuesday, we had the babies go under water. It was SO much fun! Cal loved it! Eddie came to the class with the video camera and got some great footage of Cal swimming.
I pieced the whole week (okay, the past 2 days!) together into this video:
it's only Wednesday and it's already been a busy week :)
PS- Stephanie, if you are reading this, I had the BEST time at lunch with you and sweet Reagan today. Can't wait to do it again.....next month??? xoxo

oh girl you know i'm reading :) i had so much fun at lunch too!! it is soooo great to get out and chat with 2 of the sweetest, well behaved babies around :) we will def get a date for april set up! can't wait!! i love all of cal's adorable tricks...he is just such a sweetie!! oh and ps at zumba tonight our first song was boom boom pow! i was so excited for a "real" song :) kicked my butt tonight!!!
