Fun Run!

(My computer has a really sweet virus, so I am attempting to post from my phone...)

Friday, cal's school had a FUN RUN to raise money for some new playground equipment. Each student got sponsors to donate money for laps run. The kids got all kinds of prizes for the amount of money they raised. Cal's sweet class got first place for the whole school- whhhhaaaaattt!?! 

This kid ate it up. They let them run 35 laps... Once he was done with those, he kept right on going. He says he ran "around 46 or 44 laps" ha! 

The company who helps with this event does not mess around-- they had an inflatable tunnel the kids ran through and a DJ blasting music while they ran. It was actually a whole lot of fun!

At the start, each class walks through the tunnel and around one lap. They were so funny. 

Cal wanted it to be a race (of course he did). He pretty much sprinted each and every lap. They would mandate water breaks, but cal wanted nothing to do with that. He would just keep right on going! Hahaha

At the end of the run with his buddy, Tyler. Sweaty and smelly, but happy!!

It was such a fun event and I am thrilled the school was able to meet its goal raising money. 

Next year, I'll have two kiddos to watch run....! Lawdy...
