Here you have a random list of some of my favorite things lately!
1. Pink. I have always thought Pink was a pretty cool person (like I know her- ha!), but her response to all the negative people when she wore this outfit was awesome.
"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," the "Get This Party Started" singer tweeted Sunday. "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome.
She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar
contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight
seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress
didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit
that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful."

I kinda can't believe people were freaking out about her weight. Ummm, pretty sure she looks pretty fantastic. I also love that she photographed herself in her kitchen-- she just seems real to me, and I appreciate that. So, Pink, I 'Raise a Glass' to you (I crack myself up....).
2. Have y'all tried these???
Let me just tell you-- if you haven't, you probably shouldn't. They are amazing. They are better than amazing. They put girl scout cookies to shame. I bought them at Trader Joes after teaching popup Monday and popped two in my mouth in the parking lot (I have no shame). I drove home and ate another one or two (or more....). After eating quite a few, I made the mistake of looking at the calorie count on these puppies. And let me tell you: it's high. And let me tell you what else: they are so good, THEY ARE WORTH IT! Seriously. Give me an extra 5 hours of workout-- these things are that good. Therefore, they are a favorite this week. Next week when I step on the scale, I imagine these will NOT be a favorite, but for now....ohhhhheeeemmmmmmgggeeeeeee.
3. I thought I would include a boys' favorite this week... this is their absolute favorite dinner: PIZZA ROLL UP!
You just spray a cookie sheet with some Pam and spread out some pizza dough. I usually use the rolled up stuff at the grocery store, but I was at Trader Joes (see number 2 re: the cookies.....) so I bought their dough.
We put pepperoni all over ours, but you could put whatever you wanted...
Then we cover it in mozzarella cheese...
Then it gets rolled up into a "log" looking thing. I usually have to move it around a bit to get it more centered on the pan.
I always lightly sprinkle garlic powder on top because I loooove me some garlic powder and would put garlic on everything if I could.
That's it! Bake it at 350 for 25ish minutes. Slice it in little strips and serve with some warmed up marinara sauce. I served this with a side of green beans for me and Andy (because you know Cal and Eddie aren't touching them!) That dinner is definitely a favorite in our house and one that is requested weekly. There are a ton of recipes online for dinners similar to this-- google garbage bread. We love the Buffalo Chicken Bread also.
4. It seems like I am on a huge Trader Joes kick this week for my favorites...and I guess I am! I haven't been in a while so when I went on Monday, I got a lot of yummy stuff (again, see cookies in number 2.....!). This dressing is a definite favorite of mine AND Cal's! Cal loves this stuff. It is strange that he does since he is so picky, but he loves this on his salads (yes, my picky child eats salads....and I only buy spinach salad...).
It's light, but not too light, and really delicious. It's my favorite salad dressing!
5. My 5th favorite this week is Popup Cardio Kickboxing. Obviously I love popup workout. #duh. But I tried the kickboxing class for the past two weeks and LOVED it. Two weeks ago when I took it, I burned close to 800 calories...and I was SOOOO sore for several days after. I didn't burn quite that much this week, but I am sure it was just me not going full out.
I have to make this a Friday Favorites after all the yummy food included in this post! (please note those cookies in number 2.....!!!) Gotta get the workouts in to offset the food intake!
And, a BONUS for this week's list... this girl:
She's my favorite every week. Every person in the world should be so lucky to have a Sally in their life. She's my person. She gets me. She can make me laugh so hard- because we share the same personality. The stupid things I think are hilarious on instagram, crack her up too.
I could call her in the middle of a pouring rain storm and tell her I need her to stand outside with me and count rain drops and she would do it, no questions asked. And I would do the same for her.
She gets my kids and needs to apologies when they act crazy in front of her. She doesn't judge my parenting when they are being total punks. And if she does, she would never admit it to me. She just supports me.
Everyone needs this kind of support. Sally and I text probably 50 times a day. And when we don't, it's weird. I thank my lucky stars for this sweet friend daily. So, Sally: YOU are one of my FAVES!!!!!!
Have a great weekend, everyone!!!

Good for Pink! People can be ridiculously shallow. I love her response!
I pinned that pizza roll up, but never made it. Now I'm going to have to try. It looks so easy!
